As an artist, whether you're a singer, musician, songwriter, author, actor, whether you're practicing your art full time or part time, you were NOT meant to fit in the mold... You KNOW you were made to stand out!

And it can be a bit lonely out there... you can feel like an alien, especially when you were a child and heard other people project their limitations onto you...

Sometimes these words echo in your head and you can happen to doubt yourself for a second... even if within yourself, you know it's not true. You KNOW you're meant for more, you KNOW you're made for this because it sets your heart on fire and as a child you weren't even questioning it...

Maybe nowadays, you're not consciously remembering these things (projections, beliefs, limitations, etc.) but they are still stored in your subconscious mind and they can happen to resurface in a totally different way...

But in any case, it all comes down to self-doubt, it can transpire as overthinking, "freeze mode" or analysis-paralysis, finding it hard to make decisions and/or being afraid t make the wrong decision or choice, questioning your worth, not feeling "legit", fear of failing, procrastination, perfectionism... you name it!

My goal, my mission and my passion is to empower amazing and powerful souls who were meant to do this and who know it. You just need a boost of confidence, to feel reconnected with yourself and I'm here to guide you back to your core knowing, to your soul's desires...

11 Tips to overcome self-doubt and embrace your own soul gifts and your own path

1) Stop negative self-talk 🚫🗣️

Replace it with kind words and reminders of your unique qualities & talents. 🌟🎵

2) Identify your strengths 🌟🔍

Focus on what you have accomplished, on your soul gifts & on what makes you special. 🎉✨

3) Best-case scenario 🌈🦄

The worst-case scenario is not productive, if you can imagine the worst, you owe it to yourself to imagine the best. (I'm quoting myself here, because I always say this!) 🌟💭

4) Take aligned actions 🚀📝

Self-doubt leads to overthinking, procrastination, etc. By breaking down your goal into smaller steps, you're getting into action mode, which "kills" doubt. 💪🎯

5) Progress tracker aka "journal of evidence" 🚀📝

Journal and keep track of your progress, that way, in case the party p00per (aka the mind) comes with boring stories that sound like self-doubt, what if, etc. you have written "evidence" to prove your mind that it's not telling you the truth because you have the proof written on your favorite notebook 😃😉

6) Celebrate your accomplishments and wins 🥳🏆

Acknowledge and celebrate what you have achieved in your life, how far you have come. In the same way, celebrate your wins and every time you reach a goal or have finished a task.

Remind yourself of your successes and realize your strength. Use them as a concrete proof that you are capable of overcoming any challenges that come your way. 🙌

7) Surround Yourself with Supportive People 🤗👥

Surround yourself with trusted friends, family members, a coach/mentor (🙋🏻‍♀️😉) who believe in you and support your dreams.

Their encouragement and positive influence can help you combat self-doubt and remind you of your worth.

It's important to have people who can hold space for you in a benevolent way because when self-doubt kicks in, you don't want to hear criticism or someone say "come on, get over it" - holding space is a gift, being present for one another is a gift 💜

8) Practice Self-Care 🛀🧘‍♂️

Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional wellness.

Engage in activities that bring you joy, make you feel cosy, at peace and boost your confidence. 🎨

Exercise regularly, practice mindfulness and meditation, and engage in hobbies or creative activities that allow you to express your uniqueness.💫

9) Set Realistic Goals 🎯🔑

When you want to go upstairs, you climb the stairs one by one, right? Well, it's the same for your goals... you need to take one step at a time... 🪜👣

Take your main goal and break it down into smaller actionable steps.

Then, create a plan to achieve them.

Setting realistic goals for yourself and focus on progress rather than perfection will help you release pressure and measure progress.

10) Decide that mistakes and failures don't exist 💥🧡

It's not about denial here and definitely NOT lying to yourself. It's more about deciding that mistakes don't exist because they're experiences.

Did you learn something? Are you seeking the growth, the lesson so that you can improve and readjust? When you do that, you always win...

Understand that what you perceive as a failure is a natural part of the learning process. Acknowledge how you feel it, view it as an opportunity to grow and improve. Learn, adjust and keep moving forward.

This is how you develop a growth mindset and when you do that, you always win, you embody self-leadership, as the leader, the C.E.O. of your life.

11) Be kind to yourself 🌹🫂

Speak and act towards yourself like you would to your best friend and practice self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would extend to a friend facing self-doubt. Accept that everyone has moments of doubt, and learn to acknowledge how you feel, send love to yourself and keep moving forward with grace towards yourself. 🌟

Remember, embracing your uniqueness is a journey that requires (self-)compassion, patience, and self-love. 💫❤️

Trust your strengths, decide, commit, and never forget that you are a unique combination of strengths, gifts, abilities, and qualities! 🌟🎁💪
